Midfielder Abdul Zubairu has declared that his Slovakian Super Liga side Trencin are determined to end their poor run in the top flight.
Trencin are on a bad patch of nine games without a win in the Super Liga, reports Sports247.ng.
The club has slumped to 8th on the log with 18 points from a possible 51. They face Spartak Trnava at the Anton Malatinsky on Saturday.
“We haven’t been lucky with results in the last nine games. It’s a situation that we don’t understand either but the team is determined to put a stop to that at Trnava,” Abdul Zubairu told Sports247.ng.
“Trencin is a big club in Slovakia and shouldn’t be at the other side of the table. We are Warriors and will continue to fight until the end.”
“Our bad form will be a thing of the past starting from Saturday’s fixture away to Spartak Trnava.
Also on the books of Trencin is lanky striker Chukwuemeka Umeh.
