SGFC Athletics President, Mr Richard “Zico” Opanuga has continued to show support for the Lagos Supremacy Cup.
The American-based businessman has committed his financial resources to the competition, which is scheduled to come up at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos from November 14 to 17, 2023.
He has donated the sum of Five hundred thousand naira to the organizers of the competition. It will be recalled that he also doled out One Million Naira at the 17th edition of the tourney.
“I want to express my satisfaction with the tournament which has proven to be the farm for clubs to plant crops,” he mused to the Media on Monday.

Supremacy Cup has become a tournament that gives foreign scouts the chance to pick players for contracts abroad. The likes of Yira Sor (Genk), Solomon Agbalaka (Sochi), and Moses Usor (LASK) are some of the discoveries of the tourney in the past.
