Leaving the mid 40’s but not leaving the act of giving and Hakeem Mustapha has been duly celebrated by youths who have felt the impact of the philanthropist in their lives.
Mr Hakeem Mustapha Olatunji, the president of G12 FC in his philanthropic nature decided to reward the winners of the tourney played on his behalf. The winners Box2Box received the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand naira, 2nd placed Smart City received a hundred and fifty thousand naira and 3rd placed Remo U-17 also received their price with the team of the president receiving nothing.
“In football, you must be dedicated and love football if u want to win, it’s a business on the field. Anyone who wins gets the money. They (G12FC) believed they were the champions and those who came were more determined than them and it’s fine. Next time if they see the opportunity, they will grab it fast,” the celebrant said.
Speaking on how he felt as regards being celebrated by young and old on his day, the president said, “Happy birthday to me, my family, company, team and all sports lovers. I really appreciate the love and I’m grateful and celebrating peacefully,” he said.
“I came from the ghetto, I know what it takes to be a man or be successful in life. The kind of things I went through, I don’t want these youths to go through it as well because there are a lot of temptations along the way, so if I get an opportunity, I don’t mind giving to assist them,” he added.
We at Sports247 once again with the president of G12 Football Club a Happy 45th Birthday Celebration and many happy returns.
