In a statement released on Monday by Promise Okotoko, his media assistant, Champion Igali credited Governor Diri’s win to the people of Bayelsa, citing his accomplishments as a leader during the last four years.

He hailed Governor Diri’s win as a justifiable triumph for democracy and the good people of Bayelsa.

Champion Igali praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for respecting the will of the people in the face of alleged attempts to rig the results of the election.
