Former Super Eagles Player, Dele Adeleye has expressed delight with the sporting facilities put in place by the management of MADESTONE Football Academy to enable the kids to enjoy their summer camp which started last week in Ibadan.
Adeleye declared this after he was invited to the academy summer camp to give pep talks to the kids.
While addressing the MADESTONE academy coaching crew and management staff, the former Sparta Rotterdam commended the coaches and chairman of the academy, Olubiyi Oluwatobiloba for an incredible job with the kids at the summer camp and urged the participants to take the summer seriously throughout their stay in the academy.
” I must confess that MADESTONE academy has done well in organizing a well standard summer camp for our kids.The facilities I saw here is a world class and good for the kids to exhibit their God-given talents. If another academy can emulate MADESTONE academy, we would have more talented players that would represent the country from junior to senior level in the nearest future,” he said.
Adeleye added that the training methods he observed were similar to what he experienced during his playing days in Europe.
The former Sparta Rotterdam defender however used the opportunity to answer several interesting questions from the excited kids.
He also told the participants about his career as he journeyed through several clubs in Europe.The former Super Eagles player encouraged the kids and revealed how he started his football career early under some of the best coaches available in Ibadan.
He also encouraged MADESTONE football academy to continue its efforts towards developing the finest talents and believes that some players would also represent the country in the nearest future.
In his reaction, MADESTONE chairman, Oluwatobiloba thanked the ex-international for honoring his invitation and promised that the academy would continue to focus on grassroots football development and training and retraining the academy coaches who have careers in their chosen profession.
Meanwhile, no fewer than 30 kids ranging from 4 to 16 are taking part in the ongoing summer camp.The MADESTONE academy summer camp ends this Friday in Ibadan.
