Organizers of the annual Elizabeth Wuraola Adeojo Memorial Golf Tournament have promised that participants at next year’s edition will be accommodated within the premises of the venue at Smokin Hills Golf Resort in Ilara Mokin, Ondo State.
Sports247.ng can report that this assurance was provided by founder of the resort, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, who believes the competition will have yet another innovation for its 16th edition.
Ade-Ojo stressed that participants at the next edityion of ‘EWOMGT’ will not be accommodated outside the golf course.
He gave the promise while speaking at a gala night to wrap up the 15th edition of the tournament, and enthused that the 2019 competition will be an experience golfers will never forget.
Ade-Ojo, who is also the chairman of the competition’s sponsor, Toyota (Nigeria) Limited, enthused: “I want to appreciate everyone that has come here to honour this yearly tournament.
“By the special grace of the Almighty God, golfers coming here next year will be accommodated within the confine of the Golf Resort.
“A new five-star hotel, complete with swimming pools, will provide the accommodation to golfers coming here next year to play in this new 18 hole championship golf course.
“This hotel will remain true to its African origins with the overall design and interiors being based on Nigerian art and traditional architecture.”
