Women football advocate, Moses Bako has passionately urged all Women football stakeholders to look in depth, beyond personal interest with view to promoting women football to greater heights in Nigeria in a charge delivered at the successful AGM/Congress in Benin with plans and visions for the year 2020 in sight.
“I think we should all embrace the wind of progress and join in promoting it”, Bako explained.
“With the emergence of Matilda Otuene Onyiloha as Chairman in the club owners congress, it is imperative for the new excos to work together with the women league board for the progress of the league”.
To the Club owners, let’s all embrace peace, walk together in unity as divisions will not in anyway help the progress of women football.
While addressing the media, Bako appreciated the huge media support for women’s football and pleaded for more promotions in continuous reports and coverages of the positives.
“Players must be disciplined, carve a niche for yourself, say to yourself, someone is seeing this match because of me. Coaches should endeavor to bring out the best in players, think positively about the game”, he admonished.
