“The date of the meeting has been confirmed for 10th October in Morocco. The gathering will be crucial for our hopes in playing at the 2019 All Africa Games, the Bronze Cup and Olympic Games qualifiers.”
Nigeria came second in the recent Sevens tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.
“We performed so well at the Sevens tournament in Cote d’Ivoire and placed second. It was a good experience for the entire team.”
He added that he is very optimistic the meeting will favour the country because Nigeria was adjudged the best rugby team at the tournament and the number of teams to participate in the next All Africa Games has increased from 12 to 16 which gives an opportunity for the Black Stallions to be part of the four teams.
