Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has resumed training as he continues his recovery from injury, head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of Leicester’s clash against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, van Nistelrooy provided an update on Ndidi’s condition.
The Nigerian international has been sidelined since December 8, when he was forced off in the 52nd minute during Leicester’s 2-2 draw against Brighton. However, he has now returned to partial training, with plans for him to fully rejoin the squad soon.
“Wilf is making good progress,” van Nistelrooy stated, expressing optimism about Ndidi’s recovery as Leicester prepares for their upcoming fixture.
