Coach Folabi Ojekunle has hinted that Udala FC’s poor display against Abia Warriors was due to fatigue.
Goals from Kingsley Dennis, Obioma Chukwuemeka, Dikoo Popnen, and Paul Samson helped the Umuahia Warriors annihilate Udala FC 4-0.
Speaking to newsmen at the end of the game, Folabi Ojekunle said, “Fatigue was responsible for our loss today (Monday).”
“To be fair my boys have not really had a Grade A match like this at a stretch.”
“My boys tried their best and gave it their all against a quality side. In all fairness, Abia Warriors deserve to win,” he admitted.
The coach said that the mistakes noticed will be corrected ahead of their next game against MFM FC.
“We will be ready for MFM FC and also perfect our lapses.”
