Coach Edmond Ndukanma has claimed that Goddosky’s 1-0 loss to Bayelsa United at the Governor Wike Pre Season was ‘a bitter pill to swallow for his boys’.
Clarke Fabiyi grabbed the winner for the Restoration Boys as they claimed maximum points at Sharks Stadium on Monday morning.
“We came out to give them a good match. The loss to Bayelsa United was a bitter pill to swallow after playing so well,” he told reporters after the game. “A very difficult match, which we knew would be intense.
“We haven’t really been training together but can pick positives from our performance so far. It’s the performance that matters and I’m happy with my boys.”
Goddosky will complete their Group B roster with a formality match with MFM FC on Tuesday.
