Technical Adviser Bayelsa Queens Football club, Whyte Ogbonda has vowed to do everything possible to get favourable results for the team.

The seasoned coach said he will work as hard as he can to make Bayelsa Queens succeed because he has been shown much love and respect from the Bayelsa State Government, and that the way he was received by the Deputy Governor Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo and the entire State on arrival was amazing and that it is a great honour to be in Bayelsa Queens.
“As long as everyone works as hard as they can; everyone is talented enough to be here. So now it’s just applying that and the work ethic to get the results needed”.
Coach Whyte has declared that his team is going to Abuja for the Pre-season Sheros football tournament to win the trophy as he will be taking every match, friendly or competitive games seriously.
“We’ll fight for every ball and for every point, and that’s what we want to do when the season resumes,” he told Bayelsa Queens media.
According to Whyte, no team is a pushover, but they will work hard to make sure they achieve their objective.
Coach Whyte said what is keeping the Prosperity Girls going is due to the Governor’s unwavering support and that they cannot afford to disappoint the Government and people of the State for the trust reposed on them.
“Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo’s encouragement and resources have boosted our team’s morale and competitiveness,” Whyte acknowledged. “We’re grateful for his leadership and look forward to reciprocating their kind gesture by winning the 2024/25 NWFL Premiership.”
