It’s been confirmed that Super Eagles Midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf has signed a three-year deal with New England Revolution from Royal Antwerp, leaving the Belgian Jupiler Liga for the America Major Soccer League, MLS, reports Sports247.
The club officials have been singing praises of their new capture which shows reveals why the Nigeria import was signed.

Alhassan was an impactful player whose International and Europe experience will strengthen the New Revolution ahead of the new season.
“We are pleased to add an impactful player with elite European experience to our roster in Alhassan Yusuf, whose arrival makes us even stronger in the central midfield position,”
“Alhassan is a talented player with a title-winning experience at the prime of his career. His competitive drive, excellent vision and passing, and tenacious tackling will all raise the level of our team.” The Sporting Director, Curt Onalfo told the club’s website.
In the same vein, the manager Caleb Porter, can’t hide his joy and admiration for the qualities Yusuf will bring to the club.
“Yusuf is an athletic, box-to-box central midfielder with all the qualities we seek in our double pivots.
He is highly effective on both sides of the ball and will bring defensive solidity and verticality to our attack. Alhassan Yusuf is another addition who is in the prime of his career and has a championship pedigree.”
Yusuf Alhassan was part of the Silver medal-winning Super Eagles squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and he is expected to make an instant in the MLS.
According to a report on his new club website, the box-to-box midfielder contract will run till 2027 with an option to extend to 2028 while the transfer was undisclosed.
