Ayo Oyedele father to Manchester United Academy graduate reveals the reason why Maxi Oyedele prefers to play international football in the colours of Poland than for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Sports 247 reports.
Born in England to a Polish mother, Maxi Oyedele has more familiarity with his mother’s country, according to his Dad, Ayo Oyedele.

“He has only been to Africa once in his life, and he has been here quite often – I have flown here with him more than ten times.
“Although he grew up in England, he has always felt good in Poland. It is his second home. He knows the culture and the language.” Ayo told TVP Sport.
Maxi Oyedele was included in Poland’s squad for the upcoming International break in October, where Poland will play against Portugal and Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.
The 19-year-old is expected to make his international debut for the team having represented Poland at the U18, U19, and U21 levels.
The midfielder who is also eligible to play for the Three Lions of England and Super Eagles of Nigeria left Manchester United in the 2024 summer transfer window for Legia Warsaw after staying twelve years at the club.
He failed to impress, the coach Eric Ten Hag after the preseason and he was shipped out of the club having spent loan at Altrincham and Forest Green Rovers, in the past.
