Enyimba international of Aba midfielder Austin Oladapo says he wasn’t surprised with how they dismantled Rangers international in the Oriental derby on Sunday.
The Usman Abdallah side produced a commanding performance, beating the table toppers 3-1 and extend their unbeaten run to 12 games in the process.
While reflecting on the game, Oladapo told Sports247 that the victory means a lot to his side.
“It means alot to us, knowing fully well we are close to qualifying for the super 6 which is important to us”
The former Gombe United, midfielder added that his side’s hard work in training is finally paying off.
“We were not suprise because we were working hard in training and we know if we put everything into the game, we are going to break them and it worked at the end” he stated.
Enyimba are second behind Rangers on the log of Nigeria Professional Football League Group A, with three points separating both Eastern giants.
