FIFA Foundation Projects
COMMUNITY PROGRAMME
The FIFA Foundation Community Programme supports organisations that use football as a tool for social change and improve the lives of underprivileged young people around the world. Once a year, the FIFA Foundation will invite well-established non-profit entities to apply for funding in order to use football as a tool to address social issues impacting youths such as education, health, peace-building, refugees, leadership and gender equality.
RECOVERY PROGRAMME
In times of great need, the FIFA Foundation Recovery Programme will support communities hard hit by natural disasters or unforeseen events with solidarity and emergency funding, which can be used to repair important sporting infrastructure which has been damaged or destroyed.
FIFA FOUNDATION FESTIVAL
The FIFA Foundation Festival in Moscow brought young representatives from 48 non-governmental organisations from 38 countries to the 2018 FIFA World Cup to exchange, learn and play football. The Festival was a showcase of how the power of football brings social change to communities all around the world.
The event ran from 23 June to 3 July with a football tournament and awards ceremony taking place on 30 June in Red Square in Moscow.
FIFA LEGENDS
For many years the FIFA Legends made the world dream of football. Now they continue to give back as ambassadors for the FIFA Foundation and its projects, and they will be contributing with an ambitious commitment to the Foundation Programme.
