Although they were out in the ongoing Winners Golden Bet Lagos State Challenge Cup but one of the FC Robo Warriors players,Remi Adeoye still in the shock how Mushin based team quickly crashed out in the FA Cup.
In a chat with sports247.ng, Adeoye said it was very painful to see his team eliminated in early stage of FA Cup noted that they were unlucky to have lost to Messiah FC in the penalty shoot out.
“It was a shock to me and my colleagues because we came to this FA Cup to beat Messiah unfortunately we lost through penalty shoot out.We would go back home and prepare for our NLO league,”he said.
Despite the fact his team crashed out of Lagos FA Cup, Adeoye said he had added to his experience in playing FA Cup saying that his performance is getting better on regular basis.
“The positive things I took from FA Cup was that I have more confidence than before and I have what it takes to confront any team in the field of play,”said Adeoye who is playing midfield for his team.
Meanwhile action continues today in the Lagos FA Cup when Smart City face Emmydinho by 1pm at the Strong Tower, Ikorodu.Real Saphire battle ODIC by 3pm at the Strong Tower, Ikorodu.
