In the wake of their 1-3 to Team Lagos at hom, Remo Stars U19 has returned to winning ways defeating Broad City FC in another friendly encounter.
Remo’s centre back, Bitruce, who had a blistering performance spoke to Sports247 after the game.
“It was a nice game, good performance from the players and opponents who gave us a good fight and we’re proud of the game,” he said.
Bitruce, formerly a player for Future Stars FC in far North, Kaduna, was picked to join Remo Stars after performing highly in a friendly against his current side and has since not dropped a disastrous performance after becoming a player for the club two weeks ago.
Bitruce added that he looks up to Chelsea’s Thiago Silva as his role model, citing his leadership abilities as the reason he admires the English Premier League star and he hopes to be in the colours of the London side in the coming years.
