Iganmu FC striker Ifeanyi Nwala has continued to show class in his performance for Iganmu FC after a long spell away from the side due to signing issues.
The striker won the man of the match award in his late-game for Iganmu FC and also picked up the Man of the Match award as he returned to play for the side after scoring a brace in their 3-2 loss to Valiant FC in the TCC League.
“We were a little bit slow and not reacting the way we should. Some of the players are down (with fatigue) because we played games yesterday and the day before that and as a result, some players are weak,” were the words of Ifeanyi to Sports247 as regards why his team lost despite having a good game.
Explaining the reason for his long absence in the team, Ifeanyi said “I was around for the game against Gbagada FC to play, but I didn’t feature as they told me I needed to sign a contract and I then directed them to meet my manager to negotiate. It was in the process of things that I didn’t come back again (till now).”
