Leisure sports which is a variety of sporting activities by retired athletes and sports enthusiasts is facing a rebranding process led by the leadership of Island Allstars Sports Club.
Island Allstars Sports Club in continuation of its annual sports fiesta have been restrategized with an untold world-class organization aimed at repositioning leisure sports, which includes football at this year’s Island Allstars Sports Club ‘House Cup’, which is in its 11th edition.
Speaking on the plans of IASC, to take leisure sports and particularly, activities of the club to greater heights, the President of the club, Barrister Briggs Amajuruoyi stated that towards achieving some of its lofty dreams, the club plans to open its ultra-modern clubhouse and with top of the range facilities next year.
On his part, Kelvin Irikefe, the executive coordinator of this year’s IASC House Cup, explained that with an over 250 strong membership of successful business executives, this year’s edition has 4 teams participating in the six-week-long football fiesta.
“We have mapped out top-notch plans for this year’s IASC House Cup, and I tell you, everything is world-class, unheard of in such climes.
“We’re setting a benchmark for leisure sports with several landmark programmes and activities that is in our enviable tradition,” Irikefe remarked.
