Kano Selected head coach Ahmed Abdul Pele was restrained after the game against Wikki Tourists, claiming his team should have killed the Ahlan Cup 2019 game .
It was a goalless affair in the Group C match at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
“We should have killed the game much earlier,” he told the media, “Wikki Tourists became much stronger later on, and we struggled with their long balls into the box.
“My team though, were comprehensive. We knew they would be difficult, but we handled them well.
“We are improving and growing as a squad, but we have to continue to fight if we want to qualify from the group.”
Kano Selected, Kwara United, Wikki Tourists and Sokoto United have two points apiece after two matches at Ahlan Cup 2019.
