Ibrahim Isa, founder of the martial arts academy has revealed that the academy is in dire need of quality equipment for the progress of the establishment and talent development as he calls on government, public stakeholders, and private investors’ intervention.
In an exclusive interview with Sports247, Issah stated that the academy has long since resigned to locally made equipment to train, lesser than what’s expected hence the need to get original equipment for the kids in order to aid their growth and bring them to the best level of the sport.
“You can see that we trained with local equipment, that hasn’t stopped us from trying our best if we can get original, quality equipment like a steel sword because we use wood, rod. If we can be supported in the aspect of equipment, we will definitely do better,” he cried out.
“Equipment is key to our progress but then we will keep improving with the substitutes we have until when everything is in place.”
The martial arts sole owner further explained that although the locally made equipment are helpful they are in no way compared to the quality equipment others make use of hence the call for government, public, and private organizations’ investment and intervention.
