Despite guiding his team to the NLO 2 after defeating Mandot Fc 2-1 in the Playoffs, Coach and the Founder of Dannaz Fc, Danny Nazzal has stated that his team haven’t achieved anything yet, till they earn a spot to play in Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Coach Dannaz’s side defeated Mandot Fc 2-1 on Saturday at the Remo Stars Stadium to ensure that they gain promotion to the NLO 2.
Speaking with Sports 247, after his team earned a promotion to the NLO 2, the amazing Coach Danny commended the efforts and talents of his players, saying that they always believed in his process, which has taken them this far. He further went on to admit that his team hasn’t achieved anything yet until they reach their ultimate aim of playing in the Nigerian Top Flight League (NPFL).
“Kudos to the boys, they did really well, most especially playing against a tough side like Mandot Fc. The boys believed in the process of my style of play, which has taken them this far to the NLO 2, good job from them”.
“We haven’t achieved anything yet, because we are still not satisfied with where we have reached (NLO 2). Our next target now is to earn promotion to the NLO 1 and then to the NNL and finally, our ultimate goal is to play in the NPFL, which I believe with God’s Grace and Hard work, we will get there”, he emphasized.
Coach Dannaz’s side will hope to build on the winning momentum, when the NLO 2 begins, as they aim to gain promotion to the NLO 1.
