We did not rate them (Dreamstar) because we know that we can beat them,” were the words of Pelican stars superstar Abigail Agboola in a result that took Pelican Stars out of relegation waters in the NWFL.
She also acknowledged the team’s effort alongside hers whilst also giving glory to God for the victory in the game. In a game in which Pelican Stars had issues with their goalkeepers, Agboola explained that the team was not aware of what exactly was going on if it was theatrics or not however, she was more excited about the victory.
Agboola also expressed her desire to get a call up into the Super Falcons in 2021 and hopes to be able to get the call up soon as it’s her dream.
