Hat-trick hero for Gbagada Fc, Edema Peter in their Match Day 4 of the Creative Championship League against Igamu Fc has expressed mixed feelings about his team’s 3-3 draw against their opponent.
Gbagada Fc were held to a 3-3 draw by Igamu Fc in Match Day 4 of Creative Championship League, despite going 3-1 ahead in the game, before being pecked back to a draw.
Edema Peter scored all three goals for Gbagada Fc in the match and was declared as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) on the day, after his impressive performance.
In an interview with Sports 247, the outstanding player expressed his happiness towards scoring a hattrick in the game, as this was his first hattrick for him at Gbagada Fc, but was not happy that his team were held to a draw despite being 3-1 ahead in the match.
“I feel great scoring a hattrick and this is my first time in Gbagada Fc scoring a hattrick. It wasn’t an easy game. It is a mixed feeling for me, we draw the game, I am not happy that we did, we should have won the game, but scoring a hattrick, it’s a good one for me. Five goals in four games is a good one for me”.
The Ondo-born player while still speaking commended the efforts of the organizers of the Creative Championship League, as well as the high standards the League has produced.
“This is a very good league for young and upcoming players. It’s a very well organized league. I am happy for this league, it’s just for us to build ourselves and talking about the standard of the league, it’s easy for people out there to see us, the media section, the social media platform, it’s easy for people to communicate and see us. I love the league”, he added.
Edema Peter hails from Ondo State, Nigeria. His team, Gbagada Fc are 4th on the Creative Championship League table with 5 points after 4 games played so far in the competition.
