Ekiti United midfielder Julius Adewole believes his team is improving despite suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Vandrezzer FC on Wednesday evening.
Vandrezzer took a first-half lead and held on to secure the three points in a highly contested game.
Adewole had positive words to say about his team’s performance, even though they leave with nothing to show for.
“Well, I have to say it was a fine game for us. We planned for at least a draw here,” Adewole told Sports247 post-match.
He insinuated that the team is getting better with its performances and assured fans they would give their maximum in the next outing.
“We are just coming up but gradually we will get there.
“We just want them [supporters] to know that our next game we will try our best. That’s the only thing I can say for now.” he concluded.
