Coach of Gbagada FC, Akinyelu Olajide has expressed his disappointment towards his team failing to pick up all maximum points in their match Day five 2-2 draw against Emmydinho Fc in the just vacated Creative Championship League.
Gbagada Fc played out a 2-2 draw against Emmydinho Fc at the Agege Stadium, despite taking a two-goal lead before being pecked back.
In a brief chat with Sports247, the Coach of Gbagada Fc expressed his frustration of his team not winning the game, despite their two-goal advantage over Emmydinho Fc.
“It can be very frustrating, having a two-goal lead and ending up going home with a point, it’s not a result we are happy about”, he lamented.
Coach of Emmydinho Fc, Ayeni Ademola on the other hand expressed happiness towards his team coming back from a two-goal deficit to level the game to 2-2, saying that his team could as well had won the game if they had more time left to play.
“It was a great performance from the whole team. We performed very well. It was a good fight from two goals down, we deserve to take all three points but there was not much time left, good fight from the team”, he added.
In other results of the Match Day 5 of the Creative Championship tournament, Ijebu United defeated Imperial Fc 3-1, Remo U19 defeated Dino SC 2-0 and Valiant Fc defeated Igamu Fc 3-1.
The tournament is set to go on break and will resume on the 9th of January, 2021 according to the management’s official statement released yesterday.
