Captian of Team 360; Hungbo Jacob has confessed that he was worried over his missed scoring chances as his team defeated Tico FC 2-0 in the ongoing round of 54 Winners Golden Bet Lagos State FA Cup.
Jacob said this after Team 360 humbled Tico Football Academy this morning in an interview with Sports247 at the Alade Sports Centre, Ipaja Command.
Jacob admitted that he missed some scoring chances which ought to have been converted during the encounter.
“I am seriously worried about my scoring ability. I had the opportunity to score but failed to deliver which was very disappointing. My performance today was average but I would be better before our next game,” he said.
In his own comment, Team 360 coach, Shola Raji thanked God for the victory but noted that he needed to work on the team scoring abilities before their next game.
TIco coach, Sunday Ehon said he was satisfied with his team’s performance and congratulated his opponents for their hard-fought victory.
Meanwhile, Mutiu Badmus opened the goal-scoring for Team 360 in the 10th minute before Tomiwa Omotolani got the second goal in the 27th minute.
The second half did not produce any goals as Team 360 missed many scoring chances. Tico Academy gave their best but their best was not enough to reduce the tally before the referee blew the final whistle.
