After a disappointing defeat yesterday in the hand of Wonder Xchange of Ado Ekiti, Wolekanle Boys return to winning way with a 1-0 win over Osogbo Center whipping boys Choice FC of Akure.
Ogbomoso United who started brilliantly had their first shot on goal from Rufai Suraju saved in the early 5mins with the rebounce from Adegbite Michael also saved by the Choice FC number one.
10mins later Adegbite Michael has his effort from Rufai suraju cross hit the bar.
However, in the 29th mins Ganiyu Sodiq, Rufai Suraju, and Awotoye Dayo combined well to assist Michael Adegbite with the first goal of the game. The game ended 1-0 at Half time.
The Second half started just like how the first half ended, in the 52nd minutes Ganiyu Sodiq meet a loose ball and dribble past the goalkeeper with an empty net alone, only to find his effort went a little wide the goal area.
In the 70th mins Oyekan Muitairu was brought then in the box a foul which resulted in a penalty, Towobola Afeez miss from the spot, however, he was asked to retake after the Choice FC players encroach before the penalty was taken. He misses again from the spot and also misses from the rebound
Wobil Emmanuel miss from close range In the 75th mins. In the 80th mins, Oyekan Muitairu also misses from a one on one situation. The match ended 1-0 as Wolekanle Boys move top of the log with 9pts after Wonder Xchange FC played goalless with Egba city FC.
United will on Saturday face Falcom FC from Ekiti State by 4 pm.
