Ahead of their Nigeria National League, NNL, opener, Warri Wolves have intensified their preparations for the upcoming 2021/2022 campaign by embarking on a tour of Ekiti State.
The Seasiders will lock horns with some NNL Campaigners during the tour.
It will be a reunion of some sort for the club’s technical adviser, Samson Omiponle, when the Seasiders take on Ekiti United on Friday, February 4, in Ikare-Ekiti.
Ekiti United was the side Omiponle managed during the last NNL campaign. He almost led them to clinch the promotion ticket.
Thereafter, the Seasiders will take on Osun United on Saturday, February 5.
Warri Wolves will open their NNL campaign with a tricky tie against Abia Comets on February 12 at the Warri City Stadium.
