Warri Wolves Fc have stepped up preparations for football’s return by undergoing a mandatory Covid 19 test for players, coaching staff ,youth team players and auxiliary staff.
The Cheif executive officer of the club, Mr Etu Moses led other management staff of the club to the Warri central hospital Covid 19 treatment center on Monday to undergo the test.
Speaking immediately after the test, Mr Etu said it was important to adhere with the directives of the league management company that all football clubs in the country must undergo the test before the resume of the new season.
“ For us at Warri Wolves is compulsory for everyone to undergo the test, the first phase started today with the Management ,Coaches and auxiliary staff of the club as you can see , anybody who is not here for the test shouldn’t bother working for Warri Wolves for the coming season, while the second phase will be this weekend and it will be for the players, ( Retained and newly recruited players) as well as our youth team .“
Mr Etu said the club will resume camping immediately the ban on football is lifted by the relevant authorities.
