It will be soccer artistry as Itsekiri youths will take on Urhobo youths in a bid to promote unity in the Warri South Local government area by 3pm at the Nana College this Saturday.
His majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III; the Olu of Warri, former Governor of Delta state , Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Urhobo youth President Godspower Enerho and Itsekiri youth President Weyinmi Agbas just to mention a few will all be special guests of honour in the opening ceremony of the Warri South inter community unity peace cup.
Chairman of the Warri South Local government area, Hon. Michael Tidi point out that the purpose of the tournament is to appreciate the people of Warri South and delta state at large for their contribution to sustaining peace among themselves thus far.
He also admonished that peace and unity should be embraced especially at this time Delta state election is fast approaching.
Chief Friday Omovie is expected to lead the Team Urhobo against Emma Nunu led Team Itsekiri side as Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor will open the event and Hon. Michael Diden (ejele) to kickoff the opening of the novelty match.
Chairman of the LOC Prince Godstime Emiko promises an entertaining opening ceremony and a fair tournament.
