Head Coach of SGFC Athletics Sports Club, Masood Yakub has stated that they will be going for the maximum points when they file out against Young Talent Football Academy in their second Group B game of the ongoing Wali Of Ilorin Cup.
SGFC Athletics SC was held to 1-1 draw by Sunrise FA in their opening game on Saturday and will be looking for their first three points against Young Talent FA on Wednesday.
“It was a disappointing draw in our opening game a game we should have won but we just didn’t take our chances. For tomorrow’s game we are fully prepared we’ve worked on our lapses in the first game the boys are ready and good to go”, Coach Masood said.
“We’ve worked on the attack in the last training sessions they where able to score six goals under thirty minutes which was the target given to them and I am happy, I know come tomorrow they will deliver the victory.” He concluded.
The coach also confirmed that there are no injury worries in the squad as everyone is available for selection for Wednesday encounter.
