Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, the Falconets, is set to open camp in Abuja ahead of the West African Football Union B under-20 women’s cup.
The organizers of the WAFU-B Under-20 Cup have released the fixtures for the maiden edition of the competition slated to hold in Kumasi, Ghana.
The Falconets are paired in group B with Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, and Togo while Ghana will slug it out with Benin Republic and Cote d’Ivoire in group A.
Meanwhile, the Falconets open their campaign against the Niger Republic on May 21st, 2023 at the Baba Yara Stadium before taking on Togo on May 24th with the last group game against Burkina Faso.
According to the fixture, group A leaders will face Group B runners-up while Group B winners face Group A runners-up in the semifinal slated for 31st May at the Baba Yara Stadium. The losers final and final games hold on 3rd June 2023.
