The Women’s Amateur Football Association (WAFA) League has officially unveiled the details for its eagerly anticipated Super 8 matches.
The tournament, which will feature the top eight teams of the season, is set to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.
The matches will be held from June 30th to July 7th, 2024.
The teams that have earned their spots in the Super 8 are Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, Papa Ladies, CATS Ladies, Great Stars Amazons, Future Stars 99 Queens, SGH Sports Amazons, Chosen Generation Angels, and Aseyori Queens.
Each team will be vying for the top honors in this crucial phase of the league.
In preparation for the competition, a series of pre-tournament events have been scheduled.
The teams are expected to arrive on June 30th, which will also feature the official draw and a press conference to kick off the Super 8 proceedings.

Bagbe Micheal, the League Secretary, also highlighted the meticulous planning involved in ensuring a successful tournament at Remo Stars Stadium, a venue known for its excellent facilities and vibrant football culture.
