The President of WABA Hon. Ky Col. Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi from Tanzania sanctioned the first DEVELOPMENT TOURNAMENT to take place on Friday, November 20th that will include Boxing, White colour boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, and K1 to take place at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai.
The WABA Development tournament taking place after the most successful ring officials training seminar will be supervised by the WABA’s President and Chair of the Board Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi to be assisted by Irene Joseph Magebo who is the DHRM of WABA.
Talented boxers from UAE, India, Cameron, Pakistan, Aghanistan, Iran, Italy, Morocco and Egypt will take part in Friday’s bill which is expected to excite boxing stakeholders in attendance.
Roger Barnor from Ghana has been appointed as the leading boxing referee while both Didier Le Borgne from France and Lorenzo Borgomeo from Italy will be both referees and judges of Kickboxing, Muaythai, MMA and K1.
The weigh-in for Friday’s WABA Development tournament took place at 8 p.m, Ringside Gym Global on Thursday, November 19th. 2020.
