The president of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod says the body and all its stakeholders are ready for next month’s National Sports Festival in Abuja.
Nimrond said in a chat with sports247.ng that, having gone round the various for zonal elimination qualifiers, they are now ready for the festival in December.
Nimrod said further that he is also happy that the federation has been able to categorize players that will fit into different cadres of the nation’s volleyball teams after the festival.
“We are on course in our plans for the National Sports Festival,” the soft-spoken Nimrod assured.
“We have already completed the series of elimination processes at the zonal level, and we know who and who are expected in Abuja.
“We are even looking beyond the Sports Festival, since we have been able to categorize players int he various national teams, male and female, senior and junior, for selection after the festival in Abuja.”
