The Chairman, Vandeikya Local Government Football Council (VLGFC), Benue State, Mr. Bob, Terry Akpenpuun, the Management Board and staff of the Council hereby commiserates with Rangers FC over the sudden death of their player, Ifeanyi George.
George was involved in a ghastly motor accident with two others near Benin Bypass, on their way from Enugu to Lagos in the early hours of today, 22nd March, 2020.
Unfortunately, he lost his life!
We at VLGFC are heartbroken at this sad news and want to use this medium to condole with the entire Rangers FC family as well as George’s family over this painful and unfortunate loss.
It is our earnest prayer that God will grant both Rangers FC and Georges’ family the strength to bear this irreparable loss while sparing the Nigerian Football fraternity of these unfortunate catastrophes.
May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
