As the 2021 Baptist Youth Week nears its climax, the FEBYA Youth games final is billed to hold tomorrow, Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Ifeoluwa Baptist Church, Kelebe Osogbo.
Four final games will be held later today in Football, Draughts, Ludo (Men and Women), and Whot.
In the football event, Alaafia Oluwa Baptist Church Youths will be slugging it with their Youth Counterparts from Victory Land Baptist Church.
In Draughts, 2019 beaten finalist, Sunday Alabi from Miracle Baptist Church will be hoping to win Gold Medal this time around when he faces another Draughts guru, Oladipupo Olatoye from Shepperd Baptist Church.
The Ludo(men category) will see Balogun David of Christ Life Baptist Church trade tackles with Abiodun Ajiboye of Ifeoluwa Baptist Church. While in the female Category Mrs. Olaniran from Sherperd Baptist Church will face Ifeoluwa Adedokun from Victory Land Baptist Church.
In Whot game, Adeleke Seyi from Christ Life Baptist Church will be entertaining Adewale Ademola from New Life Baptist Church.
While speaking to Newsmen in Osogbo, The Adviser of Fellowship Baptist Youth Association, Revd. Gbenga Adegboye said that the games are an avenue to foster unity among Youths of our churches in order to edify the body of Christ.
“FEBYA Games are organized and premised on the love that is radiating in Fellowship Baptist Association. We are using it as an avenue to bring our Youths together in Christ and for them to showcase their God’s given talent.”
“I want to congratulate the Churches that have made it to the finals. You have all done well. The churches that do not have the opportunity to get to the finals can buckle up against next year. We are one body in Christ.” Concluded Revd. Adegboye.
