Head Coach of Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC), Daniel Ogunmodede has assured the esteemed supporters of the club to expect victory as they host Lamray United FC of Enugu on Sunday.
The Sky Blue Stars kick off their 2019/20 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu by 4pm on the 24th of November 2019.
Speaking with RSFC Press, Ogunmodede said he is assured of amassing all three points in the first game of the season in front of their supporters.
“It’s three points or nothing as we start our season on Sunday, I have confidence in my boys, they are fresh and very young with determination to grind out results.”
“They are relatively new in the league, they are boys who gained promotion from our U-17 squad, we also added some other young players who haven’t tasted the league before, and they are hungry to win games based on the trainings we embarked on.”
“Our first target is to get a deserved win against Lamray United FC on Sunday, we heard they are a good side, but I know they are beat able, and we will defeat them comfortably in front of our fans.”
“Aside total victory against them, expect good football, tiki taka style of play from us because that has been the selling points of our club, and we won’t take it off, we will continue in that style to win games and forge ahead points both at home and away games.”
“We have set a standard for ourselves going into the league, and I am very optimistic that we will achieve all our plans as agreed upon by myself and the team.” Ogunmodede.
