Former Bayelsa and Nigeria football league president, Barrister Victor Baribote has called on football stakeholders to support grassroots football as the final of the ongoing Victor Agali AS Racine U17 Scouting Tournament comes to an end.
The former footballer said he will come to Ibru College, Agbara Delta State, where the final is scheduled to hold by 3 pm to identify with the tournament because grassroots football is the bedrock of future Stars.
Moreso, Former Super Eagle’s defender, Sam Sodje said Victor Agali deserve all necessary support for coming back to his root.
“This is a bold step. Victor Agali must be commended he deserves our support”.
Other stakeholders who have shown interest to attend the final include chairman of Sporting Fc, Prince Godstime Emiko, Tony Akoma, Chairman of T.Akoma FC, Emma Ibru, Clarkson Ogo, Azuka Chiemeka, and some other surprise guest.
