Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been crowned the player of the year for his loan team Charleroi after scoring 17 goals in all competitions for the modest Belgium side who are on the verge of qualifying for the Europa League.
Osimhen was presented with the award shortly before their game against Eupen which saw them run out 2-0 winners and also keep alive their push for a spot in next season Europa League.
The 20 year old who is on loan from Wolfsburg has taken the Belgium league by storm this season after spending 18 unhappy months in Germany, where he failed to score in 16 games.
