Victor Osimhen was among the goal scorers in the Galatasaray and Goztepe encounter in the Turkish Super Liga played on Saturday, Sports247 reports.
The Super Eagles forward notched home his 10th goal of the campaign to give Galatasaray FC the lead in the 10th minute of the encounter played at the RAMS Park on Saturday evening.

The 26 year old forward scored from the penalty spot after Djalma Silva of Goztepe fouled a Galatasaray player in box and Victor made no mistake from twelve yards.

Victor Osimhen teammate, Dries Mertens restored the home side’s lead, as he drove home the ball into the bottom left corner in the 61st minute after he benefited from Yunus Akguns precise cross.
Osimhen was subbed off in the 87th minute registering, one shot and one goal while Michy Batshuayi took his place on the pitch.
With ten goals in twelve matches in the Super Lig, Osimhen is in contention for the highest goals scorer award in the league.
He is now two goals behind the top-scorer Krzysztof Piątek on the scorers chat who has 12 goals to his credit.
The 2023 CAF African Player of the Year now has a total of 17 goals’ involvement in all competitions since he moved from Napoli to Galatasaray on loan during the 2024 summer transfer window.
