Super Eagles’ young striker, Victor Boniface, has claimed his second consecutive Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for September.
The impressive accolade, announced by Bayer Leverkusen on their social media platforms, adds to his growing list of achievements this season, following his August Rookie Player of the Month recognition.
At just 22 years old, Boniface stood out among competitors, surpassing talents like RB Leipzig’s midfielder Xavi Simons and Hoffenheim’s forward Maximilian Beier to claim the prestigious honor. His performances during the month of September included two goals and three assists in just four appearances for Bayer Leverkusen.
Victor Boniface’s recent journey with the Super Eagles also underscores his rising star. He made his international debut during the 2023 AFCON qualifier against São Tomé and Principe, showcasing his abilities by delivering an assist for Samuel Chukwueze in Nigeria’s resounding 6-0 victory.
