The first game of the of the 2023 NLO Youth League saw Krane FC take on Olegacy FC. Olegacy FC took an early lead in the 25th minute, eager to recover from their defeat on the opening day against Palm Syrup FC.

However, Krane FC fought back valiantly, with Oscar scoring a brace to secure a 2-1 victory and claim maximum points in their season opener.
In the second match of the day, Palm Syrup FC, who had emerged victorious on matchday one, faced ALGON Boys FC. The two teams put on a goal-scoring spectacle, with a total of ten goals between them. Palm Syrup FC wasted no time, finding the net twice in the 2nd and 6th minutes through Nkebeteno Udosen. Despite their efforts, ALGON Boys FC, coached by Ubong Sunday, struggled to recover from the early setback. Their plight worsened when Kemfon Davidson sealed the game with a third goal in the 75th minute, leading Palm Syrup FC to a convincing 3-0 victory.
The final game of matchday three featured Vandrezzer Starlet FC against Fresh Talents FC. An action-packed first half saw four goals scored, entertaining the spectators. Coach Madaki’s Vandrezzer Starlet FC emerged triumphant with a 3-1 win over Fresh Talents FC, who suffered their second consecutive defeat in the tournament.
A rescheduled matchday one game between Vandrezzer Starlet FC and Krane FC is set to take place on Sunday, July 16, at 4 pm at the Uyo Township Stadium, adding another exciting fixture to the NLO Youth League.
The NLO Youth League, organized by the Nigeria Nationwide League Board, focuses on U-19 aged players. The competition is currently underway across various centers nationwide, providing a platform for young talents to showcase their skills and develop in the world of football.
