VANDREZZER FC are in the city of Umuahia ready for their tune up games today and tomorrow.
The Lions of Naija departed the Land of Promise (Akwa Ibom state) at about 8am and arrived God’s own state (Abia state) at 10:30am
The team made up of 24 players and 8 officials have settled into its Villa Roy Hotel where they are lodged as they prepare to take on fellow NNL side Abia Comets at 4pm this afternoon at the Dr Orji Uzor Kalu Stadium.
They play Abia Warriors tomorrow by 8am, at the same stadium.
The terrain is not new to Brazilian tactician Rafael Everton who had a stint with Abia Warriors before joining Akwa United.
Also no stranger to the terrain is winger Lawrence Effiong, who spent two seasons with Abia Comets before joining up with the Lions of Nigeria last year.
