The event, designed to support the Nigerian Premier League Football (NPFL) clubs in their preparations for both domestic and continental campaigns, is set to take place at the illustrious Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, from August 4 to August 10.
With eight teams ready to showcase their prowess, including Enyimba FC, Remo Stars, Rivers United, and Insurance FC, the remaining four participating clubs will soon be unveiled, adding to the suspense and anticipation.
In a significant boost to the tournament’s appeal, the organizers took to their Twitter handle to reveal that each participating club would be awarded 500,000 Naira.

The winners will walk away with a staggering sum of 2 million Naira, marking a remarkable 100% increase from the previous year’s winnings.

For the runners-up, the second-placed team will be rewarded with 1.5 million Naira, a noteworthy incentive to spur them on to claim the prestigious title.
