Elche of Spain goalkeeper, Francis Odinaka Uzoho is picking positives from his team’s 2-1 loss to Tenerife at the restart of action in Segunda Liga.
Sports247.ng gathered that, rather than feel disillusioned by his side’s defeat, Uzoho was happy that he kept is place in the squad’s starting line-up.
In the wake of Friday’s loss, Uzoho is happy with his return to relevance at Elche, as he has now kept goal in nine games in total this season – seven in the league and two in Copa Del Rey.
Reviews of the match also showed that Uzoho, who is now Elche’s regular first choice goalkeeper, had more than average points from the game.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper showed good composure, despite conceding as early as the 23rd minute of the encounter at Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez.
Uzoho, who is on loan from Deportivo La Coruna, is back in top reckoning, after missing a little over a month with a suspected rib injury suffered in a 5-1 loss against Cadiz in November.
