A Nigerian former athlete based in the United States of America, Gbolahan Fatuga has set in motion a plan that will see him bring back home new ideas in school sports, athletics coaching and making the best of property ventures in the country.
Fatuga, who represented several institutions and athletics clubs during his active days, said he is bringing to Nigeria a project that will combine sports academics with coaching school leavers and sharing success ideas for business ventures engaged in property management.

He is basing his vision on the experience he gained as a mid-distance runner while schooling in the United States, after which he became an academic trainer and athletics adviser, then a property developer.
The enterprising former athlete, who held the USA 800m national record in a time of 1.49secs during his active years, is an esteemed holder of a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Emory University, which he is now flaunting to propel his innovative proposal.
After featuring for several clubs in the US, including Reebok Boston and Powerbank Racing teams, Fatuga dusted his academic credentials to commence a successful business venture in estate management as well as brokering deals in both private and public property.
The hugely resourceful athlete turned corporate analyst said he is happy with the strides that he continues making as a specialist in various aspects of property management and estate development, while also running his athletics projects on the side.
Among the services he provides are estate valuation, public structure consultancy, building construction, street outlays, road networks, arrangement of apartments, caretaker services, realtor retainership and environmental analysis, all of which he believes can be introduced into Nigeria’s property sector.
Fatuga further stated that his advent into property projects has not affected his interest in athletics, the secret of which he now wants to bring home to Nigeria in the form of a multi-dimensional business venture.
“The idea that I am unfolding involves sports development in schools, training budding athletes to be professionals and giving business ideas to youths as a consultant in property management.
“It’s something that I want to do in Nigeria to show that we also have creative people in this country and to ultimately promote property management across the nation,” Fatuga explained.
