Former Nigeria international Juwon Oshaniwa has charged the Super Eagles to go all out for victory against Libya in Saturday’s Group E tie at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Oshaniwa ants the Super Eagles to prove their worth with a winning performance against the Mediterranean Knights.
“They know they have to win against the Libyans and it’s an important game for the entire nation and I’m confident they will win,” he told Sports247.ng.
“The abundance of talents in the Super Eagles squad will not be enough. Football isn’t like that. It’s a game of impossibility.”
“More needs to be done by the current set of players in order to ensure that Nigeria qualify for the 2019 AFCON.”
Nigeria, who have failed to qualify for the last two editions of the tournament must win against Libya to avoid such fate.
